BTL is a place that has provided me wonderful opportunity. Teaching kids has been such an amazing experience. Some are innocent and calm and some are mischievous and handling all of them has been a learning experience for me. I was lucky to be a part of sports day as well. Sports days taught kids about sportsman spirit and at the same time facing competition which is very necessary for kids to learn today. It was a lot of fun. Seeing other volunteers working wholeheartedly also has been very inspiring for me. Thank you BTL for giving me this opportunity! :)

I always wanted to teach as well as help children in their day to day life activities and Bigger than Life gave me this opportunity to volunteer with them. The happiness which I see on children’s face gives me pleasure which I think nothing can give. Even they taught me to be calm and patience which I was not before.

As a person I love doing social service. Making my Life useful for those underprivileged, defines my life. Bigger than life give me opportunity to volunteer to empower kids with knowledge and to teach them the importance of discipline. It's an amazing experience to see world from kids point of view which requires lot of patient to lower their adrenaline level. I learnt a lot from the kids, my senior volunteers and interns. It was a journey where I served and learned.

My experience at BTL taught me a lot of things. I learnt how to handle mischievous kids, teach mathematics in HINDI. I also enjoyed playing with the kids...it brought my childhood to life.

Visits!

   A visit to BTL is fun and an eye opener at the same time. A visit can mean anything; like clothes or old toy donation visit, teaching or training visit for a day or a week, a collaboration visit, or even a simple ‘getting to know an NGO’ visit. We welcome people who want to do something but do not know where to start from. We welcome people who can help or need help. We welcome people who want to be a part of this BIG BTL family!

PS: Kindly note that we do not entertain birthday celebrations or parties of any sort (unless of course if it’s a volunteer). It gets weird otherwise!
