BIGGER THAN LIFE : Teaching sessions

   While access to education is important, we found most of the kids were not on par with the rest of their classmates in terms of language and basic reading and writing skills. To help them get up to speed, we put some of these children into professional tuition classes.

   We also conduct free coaching classes during the week for our kids. Our volunteers prepare the content and effectively deliver it. This has helped improve the confidence of our kidstremendously, with most now able to converse in English.

   At our Bandstand shed, we have extended the joy of learning to the community as well,including housewives and older men. This initiative has not only increased their confidence but also their willingness to read, write and speak in English.
